Jared Ebanks Drake’s emblematic take on the iconic Zoom Flight 95 has explored a rare number of propositions, all of which have appeared in preview imagery well before their release window. After recently gifting the Kentucky men’s basketball program with their own exclusive version of the Nike NOCTA Glide, the ballistic mesh silhouette is set to release in a duo of previously seen styles tonight on Nocta.com.
Having previously surfaced in official imagery, the “Triple White” pair receives a premature release ahead of the colorway’s inaugural debut via the SKRS app later this week. The latter is joined by the online exclusive “Crimson” colorway – which first appeared via Drake’s own Instagram earlier this Summer. Draped almost exclusively in the vibrant red hue, a pitch-dark set of black shades contrast the tongue, heel tabs, tread and the raised lateral TPU swoosh while carbon fiber accents remain true to form along the forefoot and heel. Stamped with “University Gold” sectioned outsoles, both pairs bear custom NOCTA tongue tabs and insole insignias while a Zoom Air unit and GTEK rubber outsoles round out the tooling underfoot.
Both the “Triple White” and “Crimson” colorways of the Nike NOCTA Glide will be available starting tonight at 9 pm PT/12 am ET for a retail price of $160. While the bright red pair is exclusive to Nocta.com, the “University Gold” accented effort will see a successive release via the SNKRS app on October 27th. In the meantime, both pairs can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
