The Nike Air Max CB 94 “White/Old Royal” Releases On January 9th

UPDATE November 29th, 2023: Official imagery has been added ahead of the pair’s release on January 9th, 2024.

Nike has been paying a dutiful amount of attention to Charles Barkley’s past signature outings as of late. Headlined by his inaugural Air Max cushioned composition from 1994, the Swoosh has been slowly reexamining the Round Mound of Rebound’s signature archives since 2021. For the latest installment, Barkley’s original “Varsity Purple” accented Air Max CB 94 is scheduled to make a return sometime in 2024.

Receiving its last retro run in 2021, the straight-jacket-inspired silhouette returns to its full-grain leather roots amplified through the model’s iconic “Varsity Purple” accent coordination with the silhouette’s 40th anniversary next year. Colorless tumbled leather drapes a dominant majority of the real estate, save the jet-black contrasts that clarify the tongue construction, elastic straps, inner lining and the punch-hole pockets of mesh that litter the sidewalls. Infused with a 180-degree Air Max system in the heel, the forefoot’s Godzilla-esque outsole is cast in vibrant “Varsity Purple” contrast.

The Nike Air Max CB 94 “White/Varsity Purple” is expected to be released in 2024 for a retail price of $170. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery ahead.

For more retro outings, the “Royal Reimagined” 1s release tomorrow, November 4th.
