The NEIGHBORBOOD x adidas NMD S1 Knit “Core Black” Releases On November 10th

Following the Japanese label's paisley-covered NMD R1s.

The NEIGHBORBOOD x adidas NMD S1 Knit “Core Black” Releases On November 10th

Back in 2022, NEIGHBORHOOD reprised their partnership with the Three Stripes for not one but two paisley-covered renditions of the NMD R1. Now, almost exactly a year later, the Japanese label is bringing its attention to said silhouette’s successor: the NMD S1.

Harkening back to designer Shinsuke Takizawa’s much earlier work with the footwear brand, the NEIGHBORBOOD x adidas NMD S1 Knit opts for an approach much simpler and more straightforward than that of the above. Save for the co-branding along the midsole plugs — which are highlighted in a bright white shade — the shoe’s construction consists almost entirely of “Core Black.” But despite being rendered in the same neutral shade, the pair’s shark tooth-inspired detailing and textured weave is still very much visible throughout upper.

The NEIGHBORBOOD x adidas NMD S1 Knit should be available on November 10th at not only select retailers but also adidas.com. In the meantime, enjoy a closer look at the collaboration ahead.

In other news, another Social Status Nike Mac Attack is releasing later this month.
