The adidas Trae Young 3 continues to build out the Three Stripes’ basketball lineup, which will soon include the divisive Harden Vol. 8.
For its latest ensemble, the Atlanta Hawks guard’s third signature model has taken on a “Solar Red/Core Black” color scheme fit for the Eastern Conference franchise. Uppers are divided between both tones, with profile 3-Stripes opting for the darker of the two colors. The lightweight textile “blends” into the exaggerated midsole underfoot, as the adidas shoe’s cushioning solution also enjoys an eye-catching “Solar Red” makeup. The midsole’s layered construction injects further personality into the sneaker, matching Young’s game on-the-court.
Traction visually deviates from other adidas Basketball models, but delivers reliable herringbone and radial layouts. The semi-translucent tooling also dons Trae Young’s revamped logo at the rearfoot, firmly cementing the 25-year-old as part of adidas’ hoops roster, one that hopes to make waves for the foreseeable future.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait to secure your size via adidas.com on November 15th. The Trae Young 3 is priced at $130 USD.
