Manchester United’s adidas Gazelle Is Ready For Match Day

But are the Staring 11?

Manchester United’s adidas Gazelle Is Ready For Match Day

It’s no secret that Manchester United are currently a shell of what it was in past decades, but its adidas Gazelle will surely serve as consolation prize for some fans.

Over the last few months, the adidas Originals team has revisited some of its most popular designs in color schemes inspired by – or fitting of – the top football clubs and nations. A collection celebrating Argentina, Mexico, and others is set to release on December 1st, but the Three Stripes has recently launched a Gazelle celebrating Man U’s heritage.

Unsurprisingly, the sneaker is covered in a deep red suede that evokes the “Red Devils” moniker. Old school emblems on the tongue, however, double down on the impish nickname, featuring the club’s character in a “Metallic Gold” finish. Branding hits on the lateral profile, spine, and sockliner also indulge in a shimmering finish that’s fit for one of England’s – and the world’s – most popular football teams. Leather 3-Stripes and Achilles’ Heel panels deviate from their surrounding in a simple “Core Black” that also helps recreate the club’s kit in sneaker form. Underfoot, the Manchester United Gazelle opts for a tried-and-proven “Cloud White” finish that allows for the upper’s details to revel in the spotlight.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead. You can buy your size right now via adidas.com for $100 USD.
