Shades Of Blue Take On This Kid’s Nike Air Max 90

Shades Of Blue Take On This Kid’s Nike Air Max 90

Over the past few weeks, a number of grade school-sized Nike silhouettes have been appearing with a consistent theme; gradient-infused swooshes. Initially introduced atop the Nike Dunk Low, the Beaverton brand’s latest kids-exclusive collection adds the Air Max 90 in a pitch-dark effort.

The Tinker Hatfield design aptly prepares a winter-ready construction spearheaded by a ballistic mesh base layer and thick leather overlays. Doused almost exclusively in a jet-black hue, the latter embellishments pair with the tongue, laces, inner lining and heel counter for a near-clad composition. Illuminated by a crisp white midsole, the Air Max cushioning system’s bright blue innards are juxtaposed with the ridged pitch-dark surroundings. In contrast to the greyscale backdrop, a titular injection of cobalt blue treats the Air Max branded mid-foot panels before instilling a gradient along the profile swooshes that bleeds into the ink-black heel.

The grade school exclusive Nike Air Max 90 “Blue Gradient” hasn’t received a release date just yet. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

In other news, Darius Garland has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with New Balance.
