A Crimson “Carbon” Shocks The adidas NMD S1

The adidas Nomad series skyrocketed to stardom throughout the 2010s, yet the circa 2015 lifestyle staple has struggled to maintain its allure over the past few years. As the German Sportswear behemoth injects its adidas Originals banner with a clear-minded revitalization alongside the collaborative aid of Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God imprint, the adidas NMD S1 has remained rooted in its recent tactically-minded era of constructions.

Cured almost exclusively in “Core Black”, the sock-like knit upper, fused TPU 3-Stripes and the BOOST-infused midsole are doused with equal amounts of the pitch-dark hue, formulating a clad canvas with room for just a few accents.. Consuming the entirety of the tread, an abundance of jet-black trefoil logos oppose the tactical treatment of the stitched “Carbon” red quarter and heel. While further crimson contrasts illuminate the pods of the sole unit, the tongue sees a singular line of stitching devoted to a seldom “Flash Lime” appearance.

The adidas NMD S1 “Core Black/Carbon” is currently available at adidas online storefront for a retail price of $180 USD. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
