Aside from its Winterized treatment this past fall, the Jordan 6 Rings continues to expand its palette derived from some of the Jumpman banner’s most widely-regarded retro colorways. Recently, the hybrid silhouette appeared in an eerily familiar color blocking reminiscent of the iconic Air Jordan 13 “Playoffs”.
While not as dark as its 1997 counterpart, the mid-top model reserves the tongue, collar and the Air Jordan 11-inspired quarter for a pitch-black treatment that ensues across the midsole underfoot. While blank white contrasts illuminate the full-length mid-foot panel and the pods of the sole unit just below, a seldom yet experienced infusion of “University Red” animates the tongue toggle and heel tab before curing the entirety of the outsole.
The Jordan 6 Rings “University Red/Black” is currently available via the store list below for a retail price of $170 USD. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
In other news, Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE1 released today in the “With Love” colorway.
