Nike, Inc. recently unveiled the Air Jordan 1 “Ivory” as part of Jordan Brand’s Spring 2024 collection.
Officially dubbed the High OG Craft, the upcoming retro is covered in a mix of unassuming tones. Typical leather construction is replaced with suede and other fabric in a similar fashion to the Air Jordan 1 KO, a canvas-covered, budget-friendlier take on Michael Jordan’s original signature model. The bulk of the upper is clad in a “Sea Glass” (grey) tone, positioning the Air Jordan model alongside other impending drops covered in grayscale finishes, Components along the profiles and around the heel bring spring-friendly contrast into the mix, reveling in “Pale Ivory” and “Coconut Milk” flavors. Other retros previewed as part of the Jumpman’s retro lineup for the first-half of 2024 take on similarly understated ensembles, highlighting high-quality builds more than bold color-blocking.
Underfoot, the Craft Jordan 1 keeps things on-theme with the remainder of the sneaker’s color palette. Midsoles, however, feature a speckled detail that suggests the retro has been constructed in-part using recycled materials. Furthermore, the off white finish across the sole unit complements the foam tongue above, helping create a “Neo-vintage” style in the process.
Enjoy a first-look at the pair ahead. The “Sea Glass/Pale Ivory” take on the Jordan 1 is scheduled to hit the Nike SNKRS app on March 30th, 2024 for $180 USD. The shoe will only release in Men’s sizing.
