The Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low “Cool Grey” Flaunts Patent Leather

The Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low “Cool Grey” Flaunts Patent Leather

It seems like everyone loves the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” retros. But when it comes to the CMFT Low models, the verdict isn’t as unanimous. Some like the idea of a retro-inspired budget-friendly Air Jordan that offers exceptional comfort, while others see it as the blasphemous misuse of a sacred silhouette.

Despite the controversy, the 2021 iteration of the Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low “Cool Grey” in suede has actually sold above retail ($120) on auction sites this year, proving that the market for retro-themed models is still robust. This doesn’t mean that the incoming units are a guaranteed success, as the switch from suede to patent leather gives it a very different look than the nearly-identical counterpart that dropped nearly three years ago. We’re curious to see how the market responds to the updated material, but the use of the glossy material is sure to bring forth interested parties.

In other news, the Air Jordan Spring 2024 line-up has been announced, and the Nike Foamposite One “Eggplant” is set to return to select markets next month.
