Nike has quietly stepped away from using camouflage patterns on its footwear, possibly to distance itself from any geopolitical drama given the amount of military action that’s happening around the world. Still, army-inspired garb is still a viable style look, and this Air Max 90 achieves that without ever needing the actual pattern.
An array of neutral shades convene here, with Neutral Olive, Medium Olive, and Light Bone crafting that distinct color palette of the Armed Forces. Nike could’ve gone with another similar shade on the outsole, but instead opts for a clean white to separate it just enough from being an exact match of soldier fatigues.
Nike Air Max 90 fanatics can pick these up soon at Swoosh retailers for $130; see the official images ahead for a full preview.
