A Smokey Mauve Dawns On The Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture

A Smokey Mauve Dawns On The Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture

The Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture may have gained some competition in its titular line in recent weeks, but nonetheless stands out by combining plenty of the Oregon giant’s previous endeavors. The latest version clads the hiking model in cream & sunset tones.

As hinted at in its title, the early 2024 addition to the Air Max aims to thread a needle between explorative function and lightweight street-readiness. Though the dawn of Flyknit in the Air Max line dawned nearly a decade ago, the Flyknit Venture represents the first combination of this sort of ACG-adjacent technology alongside it. For this pair, off white shades take up the majority of the upper, a slight gradient across the AM95-like waves. The titular “Smokey Mauve” is most predominant on the sole, but also crops up through the upper on lace loops, and heel cup branding for some key contrast.

While its very first colorway clad the Air Max Flyknit Venture in all-black, the rosy shades seen on this latest pair align well with what’s become a rosy silhouette over its past few releases. If you’re looking to get your hands on the “Smoke Mauve,” there’s no concrete release date of as right now, but it’s fair to assume they’ll hit shelves over the next several weeks. As with all of the Flyknit Venture drops so far, they’ll arrive with a $170 retail price.

As Air Max week proper begins to take shape, check out Nike’s most recent nod to their history with the Nike Air Max 1 “Since ’72” Pack.
