The Nike Air Max 1 Gets A “Cacao Wow” Makeover

The Nike Air Max 1 continues to venture outside its sportswear roots with contemporary treatments, surfacing this time around with an earthy palette executed across multiple materials. Officially dubbed with a “Cacao Wow” colorway identical to that of other popular Air Max and Nike Dunk releases, the Beaverton brand’s next delivery fits seamlessly into trending footwear aesthetics.

The upper of this pair leans heavily on dusted clay hues, appearing on the shoe’s mesh base, suede overlays, and rarely seen terrycloth tongue. Brown pebbled leather takes over the mudguard and Nike Swoosh, cementing a contemporary look and feel while matching the lining and heel “Nike Air” branding up top. The silhouette then returns to the basics underfoot, calling in a white midsole and black outsole to complete the look.

Nike’s latest Air Max 1 doesn’t have a release date just yet, so return to our Sneaker Release Dates page to follow along with emerging details as they become available.
