After Aimé Leon Dore Collabs, New Balance Is Ready To Launch The T500 To The Masses

We’ve seen this story before. Aimé Leon Dore brought back the New Balance T500 via three collaborative pairs last year, and now the model is primed to return as part of the Boston brand’s inline selection of lifestyle footwear models.

That’s exactly what happened with the New Balance 550 a few years ago, a shoe that’s now one of the hottest lifestyle pick-ups on the market. Will the T500 follow a similar path? That’s a tall task, but one that New Balance could aim to take on as awareness of the 1982-born model grows through GR deliveries.

The first inline T500 to hit newbalance.com wears an elegant pigskin suede and nubuck upper, delivering great value for a $110 shoe. As far as colors go, the design hones in on a subdued “Light Arctic Grey” mix accentuated by white and blue hits before departing underfoot. There, a polyurethane midsole spices up the look with reflective properties while also enhancing comfort through a countered footbed.

Fans of this look will be able to grab a pair on March 14th for $110 at newbalance.com. Until then, enjoy campaign launch imagery below as anticipation grows.

In related news, check out recent New Balance 550 deliveries featuring modified, mini branding.
