The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Injects A Heavy Dose Of “Legend Pink”

The enduring street style of the Air Jordan 1 is one of the most bankable assets in the Nike portfolio. So much so, it’s consistently refracted and bent into new verticals, like with the model at hand. Using that classic construction as the foundation for a platform boot, the Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn is gearing up for the spring in a vibrant “Sail/Legend Pink” arrangement.

The similarities in the upper, from an intact toe box, sidewalls and lace stays mean that from a birds eye view, they run extremely similar to Mike’s iconic first signature. However, the complete overhaul in the hardware jumps out from first glance. The collar is stretched up dramatically, and the platform sole that’s added underfoot radically changes the formula at play.

The previously released colorways have introduced us to the sneaker boot with at most, a two tone color-blocking scheme. The pair at hand keeps that configuration, cladding the exaggerated sole in “Legend Pink” while keeping the upper in a conservative “Sail.” Already a familiar formulation for women’s releases, cohesion is created with the soft pink accents that hit the tongue and pull tabs towards the back, creating an airy and lightweight visual atmosphere for a model that’s anything but.

The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn “Sail/Legend Pink” is available now via Nike.com, released in women’s sizing for a retail price of $165. Scroll just below for a full suite of images before you pick up your pair.

Elsewhere in the line, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Trophy Room” is just around the corner. As always, keep an eye on our Jordan Release Dates 2024 page for our latest coverage.
