RELEASE DATE: Apr 11, 2024

As the Nike Air Max Plus continues to establish itself as a true leader in its product line, both traditionally and in terms of influence, the bevy of new colorways keeps marching on. The latest may be one of the wildest we’ve seen in recent memory, with initial looks via @jw0574 revealing a bizarrely beach-ready upcoming edition.

A frequent inclusion on the model, a gradient envelops the upper of this pair, taking the mesh through the “ROYGB” section of the rainbow. Considering the vacation-heavy themes at play here, it’s a half-and-half split between an OG sunset motif on one hand, and aquatic beachfront imagery on the other hand. Outside of that colorful portion, the rest of the shoe is dressed in shades of dark gray. The wet sand sole speaks for itself, but shaggy, almost matted suede on the mudguard and heel isn’t too far off, a material switch that’s mirrored on the tongue.

Information about this edition of the Nike Air Max Plus is very limited as of writing, but it’d be a bit surprising were these not set for a summer release. We’ll keep this page current with date and pricing info as it trickles out.

While we await more details, check out our latest surrounding tomorrow’s Air Max Day holiday, including the Nike Air Max 1 “University of Oregon” set to drop in celebration.
