The New Balance 550 Golf SL, revealed here in a fitting white/green colorway, is the latest in a line of classic icons that have found its way to the mature sport. Dunks, Air Force 1s, Jordans, Stan Smiths, you name it — they all received the proper modifications to be fit for eighteen holes. For the 550, New Balance added waterproof microfiber leather uppers and their NDurance® spikeless rubber outsole as a means to maintain the casual style of the silhouette.
Expect a release online on newbalance.com for $140 on April 23rd, with more colorways likely to follow suit.
