Three shoes make up the delivery.

Topo Chico And Converse Pour Out A Collaboration Ahead Of Cinco De Mayo

With eyes towards Cinco de Mayo, Mexican mineral water brand Topo Chico and Converse are set to drop a collaborative sneaker collection on Thursday, May 2nd. The delivery includes three shoes designed by Mexican American street artist Victor Quinonez (@MARKA27) that speak to Topo Chico’s heritage and the iconography found on its various products.

A familiar face in the Chuck Taylor All Star appears twice in the Topo Chico x Converse collection, both as a high and low-top. The former works in red Topo Chico stitching on a tan canvas base, while the latter opts for all-over screen printing on a black backdrop. Floral illustrations appear on both, as do semi-translucent green rubber outsoles that mimic the look of aged sea glass.

A co-signed take on the Converse Fastbreak completes the trio, best defined by its yellow collar and matching pattern on the sock liner right next to it. A green outsole and forefoot tag reading “Qué Sabrosa!” (Yummy!) add to the look, but a white leather base and grey/off-white overlays keep it tame.

Enjoy official images of all three pairs below and mark your calendar for the collection’s release on May 2nd through Converse. Reference the “Where To Buy” sections corresponding with each shoe to guide your purchase.
