Heitor da Silva Brings Premium Leather To The adidas Pro Shell ADV

The next chapter of Heitor da Silva’s collaborative adidas catalog delivers a skate-ready take on the adidas Pro Shell, dressed in premium leather for a look that’s every bit as aesthetically pleasing as it is durable. Skate shops have had pairs in stock for a while, but we’re now learning of a global release through adidas channels on May 10th.

The Pro Shell model itself is exactly how it sounds; it’s an offshoot of the adidas Superstar with a higher height and lace strap across the tongue. The ADV (or “Advanced”) moniker associated with this pair speaks to the shoe’s modified skate utility. It features all the same hallmarks as the standard model but with a molded Adiprene sock liner, upgraded tongue shape, and flexible rubber outsole so as to enhance comfort. Save for a mainline “Cloud White” colorway, da Silva’s co-signed release marks the ADV version’s first big push to market.

Drawing inspiration from his love of fashion house aesthetics, da Silva’s Pro Shell ADV comes with premium saddle brown leather and gold co-branding. They’ll look clean coming out of the box, but will ultimately give way to a distressed look once thoroughly tested with flip tricks and the like.

Enjoy official images below and mark your calendar for the shoe’s release at 3:00 AM EST on May 10th for $120. In other adidas Skateboarding news, check out the adidas Superstar ADV for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
