“Bright Cactus” Takes The Lead As Nike Air Max 1 Golf Tees Off

The Nike Golf initiative is truly in full swing (no pun intended.) Each year around the Summer, more and more silhouettes get looped into the retooled umbrella, but the Nike Air Max 1 still stands out as one of the best at living this renewed life. It’s continuing its run at the top with a new sprightly formulation in “Bright Cactus.”

The AM1’s characteristic black, white and grey palette continues on here, still successful as ever. “Bright Cactus” is the chosen detailing shade, painting the tip of the sole, selected suede panels and the eyestays. Much like other Nike staples in the Dunk Low or Air Force 1, the Air Max 1 has always been presented in a full spectrum, allowing consumers to add any tone to their wardrobe through the model. As the AM1 Golf continues unveiling new colorways, it’s reaching the same status. Though the cleated traction underfoot is the most easily recognizable change, do note that the overall shape is tweaked a bit. The silhouette is stretched out, the Air bubble shrunk and the model losing a bit of height as a result.

The Nike Air Max 1 Golf will hit Nike.com and partnering retailers in the coming weeks with a $160 retail price.
