Aimé Leon Dore Introduces Two New Balance T500s For Summer 2024

Even as Teddy Santis leads New Balance’s MADE in USA label as in-house creative director, the relationship between his Aimé Leon Dore imprint and NB marches on. With new editions in their relationship dropping seemingly every month, we have to jump back six collabs to the last ALD New Balance T500, the capsule that brought back the lowkey tennis model from the archives. Less than a year later, they’re linking back up on the silhouette, delivering a fresh set of clean colorways for the warmer weather ahead.

In typical ALD fashion, the palettes on offer are clean-cut and simplistic, respective pairs relying on navy & grey tone-on-white treatments. It makes these an appealing lifestyle proposition, enhancing the low-key construction of the T500 itself. Though the colors lean conservative, the branding and heel cup are draped in snakeskin, a premium touch that elevates the overall profile in tastefully stealthy fashion. Typical co-branded detailing closes out the design of both shoes, matched by the commemorative packaging they arrive alongside.

You can pick up your pair of Aimé Leon Dore New Balance T500s via the ALD website. Retail is set at $130 for both shoes.

Elsewhere for the Boston brand, fresh New Balance Grey Day pairs landed with the New Balance 1906R and Warped Runner.
