“Canyon Pink” Lands On The Nike Air Max 1

The women's release arrives this Fall.

“Canyon Pink” Lands On The Nike Air Max 1

There aren’t many silhouettes in the Nike catalog that continue to shine decades into their life cycle the way Nike Air Max 1 does. Even if successive editions rely on the OG color-blocking sneakerheads have known since the AM1’s inception, demand still keeps up all the same from devotees of the model. If you count yourself among them, you’re in luck- the Nike Air Max 1 “Canyon Pink” brings some seasonal flair to Tinker Hatfield’s classic formulation.

The template of palette swapping from the original 1987 pairs lives on with this edition. The shoe opts to place “Canyon Pink” in place of those accent shades. a hue that quite literally blushes across the Swoosh, mudguard and scattered hits throughout. It might not be revolutionary, but it’s plenty appropriate- it’s a color just vibrant to enough to bring seasonal energy while reserved enough to fit into  most any outfit.

The Nike Air Max 1 “Canyon Pink” will command a $140 retail price upon arrival. As a GR drop, there likely won’t be a specific date set aside for this pair. Instead, expect these cropping via Nike.com and select retailers in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere in Tinker Hatfield’s line, the Nike Air 180 returns on May 24th.
