Perforated Black Leather Upholsters The Nike Air Force 1 Low

"Triple Black" gets reinvented.

Perforated Black Leather Upholsters The Nike Air Force 1 Low

Even amid reports that production of Nike staples like the Dunk Low would be slowing, the stream of new Air Force 1 looks keeps coming. After reimagining “Triple Black” forces with patent leather and suede, the streetwear icon is reinventing again with a base of perforated leather.

The dotted foundational change is really the main draw with this pair, though it’s met by tumbled leather on the eyestays and tongue for a bit of contrast. Though an infrequent touch, this leather switch-up isn’t without precedent- we’ve been talking about shoes with this touch for over a decade. Even setting aside the harsher overtones connected to all-black forces, in a regular leather application, they’re squarely on the ultra-casual side. The elevated atmosphere that his perforated leather take carries just might be your ticket if you’re planning on bringing a pair of AF1 into other settings.

This Nike Air Force 1 Low is expected to debut on June 6th on SNKRS and select retailers with a $140 MSRP; keep your attention on the Sneaker Release Dates page close by as more details emerge.
