Air Jordan 3 “Black Cat” Releasing March 2025

The Jordan Release Dates calendar for 2025 keeps getting more and more filled out by the day. We’ve covered a storm of upcoming pairs in recent weeks, and now to sneakerheads’ delight, we’re finally learning more about one of the year’s most anticipated drops. For the first time since its original 2007 release, the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cat” is expected to return in March 2025.

According to @zsneakerheadz, the icon’s comeback was initially expected for Holiday 2024, but was pushed back in favor of the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement.” Thankfully, sneakerheads won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on the prized Retro. We’ve yet to see images of any capacity at the time of this writing, but the shoes are expected to do right by the original 2007 pair with the same nubuck upper, patent leather mudguard, and elephant print. It marks the first numbered “Black Cat” Jordan release since 2020’s Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” Retro, that pair having arrived as a re-issue of its 2006 original.

Honing in on the Spring 2025 shopping season, the AJ3 “Black Cat” sits alongside the Jordan 3 “Hydrogen Blue” and Jordan 1 ’85 “Bred” among the season’s most highly anticipated drops. Official images should become available in the near future, but for now, enjoy detailed images of the 2007 pair below and return to our Jordan Release Dates page for all the latest updates.

Pivoting to another upcoming “Black Cat” release, check out the Air Jordan 5 “Black Cat” expected to hit shelves later this year.
