Though Irving has sported the ANTA KAI 1 Chief Hélà colorway for most of the WCF, the latest pair to begin surfacing would be a fitting piece for the close-out. Images are continuing to roll in of the ANTA KAI 1 in a sleek “Triple Black” colorway.
Given the pairs that preceded this one, it doesn’t take a designer to note how this pair diverges from the ANTA KAI 1 looks we’ve gotten so far. The abstract, radial and geometric designs that marked past pairs are entirely absent. Washed away in the service of the conservative greyscale arrangement, the mesh upper instead turns to a staid, unadorned layout. The “Triple Black” turnaround is all-encompassing, largely draping the silhouette. The few exceptions are in the #11 decal at the forefoot and Irving’s logo on the tongue, maintaining a sleek profile while adding some metallic pop.
