Official unveiled during the June Paris Fashion Week event this week, Japanese label AURALEE and New Balance are continuing their partnership with two fresh 475 colorways dropping Spring/Summer 2025.
Much like another acclaimed New Balance collaborator in jjjjound, AURALEE’s catalog consists of elegant, contemporary re-interpretations that deliver both versatility and subtle uniqueness. Recent stabs at the New Balance 1906R and WRPD Runner embody that ethos to a tee, and this latest two-pack is no exception.
More importantly, the delivery comes as part of a broader New Balance 475 revival. Teddy Santis recently shared another upcoming pair on Instagram earlier this month, and given this latest news, it appears the long-archived 1980s trail shoe will surface with more frequency in the coming months.
The AURALEE x New Balance 475 duo is highlighted by a yellow pair that’s “buttery” by all definitions. Pastel shades appear over the base and suede overlays, while the heel and New Balance logo stand out with traditional grey coloring.
Meanwhile, the other pair embraces classic grey treatments in lockstep with any number of New Balance essentials. Taken in the same material composition as its counterpart, the shoe doesn’t break new ground but provides another model to choose from when it comes to grey New Balance footwear.
New Balance heads will have to exercise patience while we await the shoes’ Spring/Summer 2025 arrival, but know that our Sneaker Release Dates page will be kept current with all the latest info.
