Anuel AA’s Reebok “Soy Leyenda” Collection Releases On July 12th

On top of becoming the dominant music force it now is, Latin trap has made a serious mark on the footwear industry in the past few years. While the J Balvin Jordans and continuing adidas Bad Bunny partnership speak for themselves, Anuel AA signing with Reebok last year signalled another player entering the scene. Just a matter of months later, the two principals are ready to unveil some product, providing a look at the Anuel AA Reebok “Soy Leyenda” collection ahead of its release.

Two shoes are set to introduce Anuel AA shoes to the public, the Reebok Classic and the Reebok BB4000 II. Both shoes showcase a neon-tinged palette, pouring notes of bright pink, radioactive green and deep purple on either. It’s a reflection of the Puerto Rican singer’s emblem, stamped on the heel and tongue, but also makes for a retro, 80s style colorway all around.

The BB4000 II’s premier design outside of just the colors is the sole, sporting a confetti-like print on its off-white midsole and gum outsole to close it out. The combination of the suede mudguard & heel cap as well as the centered leather overlays brings a classy atmosphere despite the playful detailing. The Reebok Classic fittingly keeps it that way, largely relying on its timeless construction and an always successful foundation of black & white. His BRRRRR! adlib appears in place of spell-out Reebok lettering towards the forefoot for one last dash of commemorative punch.

The Anuel AA Reebok “Soy Leyenda” collection will be distributed through Reebok.com and select retailers on July 12th. The BB4000 II lands only in adult sizing with custom packaging, retailing for $120. The Classic Leather arrives in kids’ and adults, carrying a $100 retail price.
