The Air Jordan 1 Low “Paris” From 2020 Returns For The Olympics

A coveted 2020 style hits the market again.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Paris” From 2020 Returns For The Olympics

If you’ve been checking in to our coverage over the past few weeks, you’ll know that there aren’t many bigger current series than what Nike is rolling out for the Olympics. While their best & brightest performance models remain in the spotlight, the latest shoe to hit the news wire is a bit of a curveball; the Air Jordan 1 Low “Paris” from 2020 is returning to shelves for the international occasion.

It’s a true retro of what we saw a few years ago, the design carried by a mix of soft pastel notes and some gilded accents on the tongue and aglets. The material mix of short-haired suede, textile and tumbled leather, spotted on both overlay sections at the midfoot and a commemorative hangtag, were a selling point for the original edition and based on retailer images, remains a strong suit in the reissue.

The synergy with this return effort is obvious; though initially minted alongside the similarly city-themed Air Jordan 1 Mid “Milan,” it carries the same titular storytelling elements Nike is currently highlighting everywhere in their catalog from the Air Jordan 4 to the Nike SB Dunk Low.

Certain global retailers have the Air Jordan 1 Low “Paris” slated for a July 3rd release with a $135 MSRP, but firmer stateside details are still unclear. Keep our Jordan Release Dates 2024 close by for the most current information if you’re hoping to take advantage of this second pick-up opportunity.
