Naked Adds Lace To Their adidas Samba Collaboration

Naked and adidas are embracing the delicate on their seventh collaborative capsule. After unveiling a co-branded take on the archival Tischtennis silhouette, the indomitable adidas Samba is joining in on the action.

Similar to the Tischtennis, the first blush details of this shoe are relatively standard; a base of white leather, a translucent gum sole and light grey suede overlays mean this should be familiar to Samba fans as whole. Of course, as the lace details work in at the Three Stripes branding and heel cup, this shoe truly takes off, those sections doing the narrative heavy lifting. Per Naked, this collaboration “celebrates tradition through intricate lace details and symbolic daisy patterns, embodying purity and love.” This adidas Samba closes out with co-branded tags on each tongue, sealing the deal on this weighty conceptual collab.

The Naked adidas collection drops on August 7th via the Naked site, with the Samba retailing for $140 USD. A wider release via adidas.com and associated channels is slated for September 13th.
