Action Bronson’s Next New Balance Collection Is For Runners

Two silhouettes coming soon.

Action Bronson’s Next New Balance Collection Is For Runners

Action Bronson’s a true renaissance man of the modern day, guided by his wandering mind and dabbling in what seems to be a new specialty every season. Already known for his expertise in the kitchen and the studio, the Queens native became the face of fitness for a period as he shed considerable weight during the COVID-19 lockdown. It makes perfect sense that his next collaboration with New Balance focuses on activity, and after a slew of teases on his social media, Bam Bam Baklava officially announces his next project.

You already knew about the New Balance Minimus Trail, a low-to-the-ground outdoor-minded running shoe meant for quick maneuvering around natural obstacles. Action does announce the official moniker of this collaboration, officially dubbing it the “Pluto”.

He also debuts his take on the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4, the brand’s mainstay running shoe priced at $160. Officially called the “Foxtrot”, it features shades of light burgundy on the upper, while the chiseled midsole opts for a faded blue. These color schemes are apparent throughout most of his New Balance projects as he’s worked closely with the New Balance collaborations team and Aaron Kr, formerly of Sneaker News and a contributor to both Action’s collaborations and even the Saucony Lifestyle team.

As it stands, release information is not yet known, but it’ll be announced soon as the season shifts from unbearable heat to a more outdoor-running appropriate climate.
