Original article posted August 13th, 2024: Skepta’s PUMA Skope Forever is still in its infancy, only having rolled out two colorways; its Pearlescent debut colorway and a Dover Street Market reptilian outfit. Both ran parallel to the sort of outfits he favored while with Nike, making the latest “Black Ice” PUMA Skope Forever a bit of a combo breaker, set to arrive in the near future.

Indeed, the titular earth shade that drapes the upper is unexplored territory for the “Greaze Mode” MC, previously tending almost exclusively towards combinations of jet black & metallics. Seasonally, this look is certainly a match, the autumnal notes that paint the leather & mesh blend up top only accentuated by a contrast sole underfoot. That sole unit is the truest expression of Big Smoke’s prior design language all told, with mirrored chrome draping the midfoot shank and the PUMA branding at the very rear.

A wide release for the PUMA Skope Forever “Black Ice” is set for August 28th; retail is set at $200. Certain sizes are already available via select overseas retailers; use the “Where To Buy” links ahead, or simply catch detailed looks of this shoe with the images below that.
