Damian Lillard Presents The adidas Dame 9 “Formula Zero” PE

Summer basketball camps are an integral part of the NBA fabric- both for current stars aiming to impart their wisdom & accumulated skill on the next generation and for the other side of the equation, league hopefuls that’ll become up the All-Stars of tomorrow. Damian Lillard’s Formula Zero camp is now in its third year, and as a tentpole of adidas Basketball, attendees are getting some neck-breaking footwear along with the experience.

Oscar Castillo has shared with Sneaker News images of this sleek adidas Dame 9 edition, carried by glowing red on the shroud and inner bootie up top. The slitted Three Stripes cut-outs at the quarter that defines the Dame 9 reveal a staid base of pure white. As you work underfoot, sprightly notes of aquamarine paint the sole, most impactful with a teal-to-red gradient stretching from midfoot to the heel. Closing out the design are a handful of co-branded details, with the Formula Zero name planted at the forefoot and the camp’s logo represented on the tongue.

As promised by the “PE” subhead, this edition will remain exclusive to Formula Zero 2024 alum, but the public debut of the silhouette is likely on the horizon, expected via either the Dame 9 “Playoffs” or BAPE Dame 9.
