New Balance WRPD Runner “Flat Taupe” Lands In September

A naturally earthy overhaul.

New Balance WRPD Runner “Flat Taupe” Lands In September

In the 12 months it’s been on the market, the New Balance WRPD Runner has tried on a ton of outfits, from highlighter two-tone to synergistic neutrals. In the past few months, however, it’s leaned into monochromatic territory, unveiling all-white and all-black editions that potentially chart a new path for the eccentric silo. It’s at least continuing for one more look, as a “Flat Taupe” colorway has emerged set to land this September.

The naturalistic tones here are comprehensive, fully drenching in tones of “Flat Taupe” & just-adjacent “Sparrow.” Those light hues allow the materials here to truly shine, with textured leather overlays and suede N branding imbuing a classic leather goods atmosphere. As opposed to some previous colorful takes on the Warped Runner, this look creates a natural dissonance between the exaggerated hardware and an easily digestible palette. With the start of Fall just around the corner, this full embrace of the season should be well-recieved upon arrival.

The New Balance WRPD Runner “Flat Taupe” lands this September, retailing at $150. While we await further details, check out a detailed gallery of images embedded below.
