The Patta x Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” for 2024 is nearly identical to the original, but there are some tweaks worth noting. The shape of the Air Max 1 upper has changed slightly since 2009, with the modern version featuring a more rounded, bulbous construction, and the insoles are entirely new. While the original release featured brown striped insoles calling out Patta’s 5th anniversary at the time, the re-release switches things up with an elaborate blue graphic inspired by the €20 bill.

Other than that, the materials are said to be identical to those of the original pair. Taken in familiar “Sport Red” color blocking, Patta swatches “Chlorophyll” onto the mudguard, Swoosh, and other accent elements, taking inspiration from the original green Patta logo. Both of those structures are comprised of denim, while the quarter and forefoot/heel paneling come crafted out of grey nubuck and canvas, respectively.

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” will release exclusively at pattaxnike.com and Patta stores on September 13th, 2024. The website currently shows a password page where users can subscribe to updates as the drop looms closer.
