An uncharacteristically bright edition of Ant's silo.

Anthony Edwards Debuts An adidas AE1 Low “Multi-Color”

To quote label mate Damian Lillard, “the summer [is] when you truly prepare yourself.” Coming off a Western Conference Finals appearance, Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves are beginning to truly kick into gear as they aim at matching or ideally surpassing that mark this year. The team themselves shared images of Ant’s off-season regiment, and most notable for our purposes, revealed a new adidas AE1 Low colorway in the process.

The headline here is the rainbow that overtakes the honeycomb TPU cage. White mesh covers the upper, creating a grounded foundation that makes that vibrant section stand out all the more. Matching gradients on the outsole and sockliner enhance a sprightly overall outfit, and complementary pastel hits on the shoe’s extremes close out the design.

Some outlets have reported that a low-cut version of the 3SSB PE that Edwards gifted to adidas camp attendees earlier this year is on tap for retail release in 2025. While this pair isn’t a one-to-one replication of that higher edition, there’s also obvious crossover with the rainbow print TPU cage. It’s possible that this is a very early preview of that ’25 Anthony Edwards 1 Low, but we’re reserving judgment until official word emerges.

To that end, it’s unclear whether this pair will get a public release at all, independent of its colorway name or specifics. For now, check out the Timberwolves’ photo blast included ahead and check in to our Sneaker Release Dates page periodically for any updates on this pair’s potential release.
