Sean McDowell’s Nike Air Max Plus is about to get some serious shine thanks to a Swarovski collaboration releasing towards the end of the year, but real TN heads know that tasteful mainline options are all that’s truly needed to make the Air Max icon dazzle. Thankfully, Nike’s Fall/Winter 2024 catalog has several, be it liquid metal colorways or tried-and-true gradient arrangements as seen on this latest pair.

Save for “Volt” treatments on the mini Swoosh and Tuned Air chambers, almost the entire shoe comes painted in black and white. The base layer fades into darkness as you move from the top down, accompanied by a black and “Volt” shank plate and black outsole to cap off the delivery. The shoe doesn’t have the aura of an original colorway, of course, but compensates with a versatile aesthetic that’s a bit more style-able that your average neon-dominant pair.

Currently, the Air Max Plus “White/Volt/Black” is expected to hit shelves during the Fall/Winter 2024 shopping season. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates hub to browse other upcoming Air Max arrivals.
