Though the New Balance TWO WXY V5 was their most recent shoe to make headlines, don’t sleep on the other members of the New Balance Hoops catalog. Only a few weeks before that official unveiling, they enlisted rising star Tyrese Maxey for an attention-grabbing reveal of the New Balance Hesi Low v2, an agility-minded silhouette that the 76ers PG will sport throughout the season. As tip off nears closer, we’re starting to get additional looks for the fresh model, beginning with the “Digi Dash” look featured here.

Of course, the name isn’t a true allusion to futuristic automobile displays. Instead, it’s a coy bit of wordplay that blends the high-speed element with a technological atmosphere here. To that end, binary “Hi-Lite” shades make a major impact dotting the midsole & medial branding, creeping up towards the tongue underneath the 80s-inspired “Hesi Low” branding. “Blue Oasis” fittingly provides a calm foundation for this colorway, while the notes of “Inkwell” purple on the tongue and outsole close out the vibrant lean of this third Hesi Low v2.
