The Nike Air Max Plus Utility “Baroque Brown” Is Available Now

Sprightly accents interrupt an earthy colorway.

The Nike Air Max Plus Utility “Baroque Brown” Is Available Now

When news of the Nike Air Max Plus Utility first broke earlier this year, we took it chiefly as part of the Air Max Plus’ 25 year anniversary. While it certainly fits under that umbrella, it also underlines utility-minded overhauls for a number of reliable Beaverton products, from the Vomero 5 Roam to the Blazer Mid Roam. Retaking the spotlight once again, the Nike Air Max Plus Utility is turning the lights out for a stealthy new colorway in “Baroque Brown” & “University Blue.”

For the uninitiated, the Utility offshoot offers a pretty comprehensive slate of changes to the beloved TN, swapping the pronounced TPU waves for graphic overlays, adding weaving paracord over top and ushering in a new base of breathable mesh. Here, an earthy colorway drapes each of those touches, pinning a “Baroque Brown” foundation with a heavy spate of jet black detailing on top, arguably most effective on the suede foxing underneath the typical patent toe-cap. A few select hits of “University Blue” at the tongue and outsole ensure eye-catching appeal in the margins, however.

The Nike Air Max Plus Utility “Baroque Brown” just landed on Nike.com, commanding a $195 MSRP. Use the “Where To Buy” widget embedded right ahead of this for direct shopping links.
