Damian Lillard Will Wear This adidas Dame 9 For Milwaukee Bucks Home Games

Entering the year with top 8 odds, the Milwaukee Bucks are shaping up for a make it or break it year, looking to far exceed two consecutive first rounds exits and possibly hoist Milwaukee’s third championship. The performance of superstar PG Damian Lillard will factor heavily into whether they can reach that lofty goal, and he’ll be sporting his Dame 9 the whole way through. Following a crop of debut looks that circled back to his Three Stripes backlog, we’re getting the first team-friendly edition with this “Home” colorway.

Opting for a far brighter profile than the previous vibrant editions, white takes up the most real estate on the shroud-like outer shell. Of course, the Bucks’ vintage purple & green kits are the guiding light for this design, hitting on the era of Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson. Both those colors take to the inner bootie section, with the design finished by a dose of “Cream City” off-white on the outsole.

The color scheme was last used the Bucks’ primaries in 2006, but in were reprised in all their 1990s deer graphic glory in 2012 before serving as a frequent throwback look this decade. Regardless, the continuing use of forest green in all of their on-court wear means this pair will be a match all season long for Lillard, and its eclectic mix of tones makes it an eye-catching addition to your pickup rotation.
