Sneaker News Aminé has officially unveiled his next collaboration with New Balance. This blue/orange colorway of the New Balance 740v2 is inspired by the official colors of Benson Polytechnic High School (aka Benson Tech) where Aminé began his musical journey.
Aminé first teased the collaboration earlier in September by revealing a special billboard in Portland, OR that details his life achievements. To commemorate the collaboration, Aminé will donate $25,000 to the graduates of the Radio KBPS program to help with college expenses. The collaboration is confirmed to release on November 1st.

The New Balance 740 is an archival model that released around 2010; the 740v2 is an updated version with a new sole unit and will release in several colorways this Fall/Holiday season. Aminé’s version features more outdoor-inspired touches such as the roped shoe-laces with the lace toggle. The shoebox also nods to his academic past as it is inspired by what appears to be an older model Apple MacBook.
