The Nuggets star turns model for this pair of drops.

Jamal Murray Debuts Foot Locker’s Exclusive New Balance WRPD Runner Release

Though the Denver Nuggets and New Balance are his primary employers, Jamal Murray has been working on a relationship with Foot Locker in 2024, uniting with the retail giant for a “Blue Arrow” lifestyle collection earlier this year. With news of the New Balance TWO WXY v5, a silhouette he’s expected to sport on-court throughout the 24-25 NBA season, landing just a little while back, Kitchener’s finest is striking while the iron is hot with a two-pack of Foot Locker-exclusive New Balance WRPD Runner pairs.

To be clear, Murray’s appearance here speaks more to his status as a tentpole of New Balance’s roster of talent, rather than any say-so in these two shoes’ design. Nonetheless, the autumnal ‘fits he sports sets up the white & “Dolce” pair perfectly well, with the exaggerated, futuristic silhouette executing a vibrant yet tonal look.

In addition to the season-ready application, model shots showcase an additional “Grey Days” style colorway, delivering complementary notes of “Harbor Grey,” “Concrete” & “Sea Salt.” Though the  WRPD Runner has been a collaborative canvas in the pas, this Foot Locker x New Balance link-up bridges the gap between special edition and general release, hitting on a perfect Fall note in the process.

The Foot Locker New Balance WRPD Runner collection drops October 1st. Though retail pricing isn’t confirmed, expect an MSRP in the $150 area.
