Look At What Nike Did To The Swoosh On This Air Force 1

Another Fall/Winter season, another spate of outdoorsy takeovers for Swoosh classics. The Zoom Vomero 5 Roam or Blazer Roam may serve as more splashy retoolings, but Bruce Kilgore’s evergreen design hasn’t missed out on the fun by any means. What we have on tap here might just be its biggest makeover yet this season, shuffling its typical branding in a major, major way.

The headliner is the lateral Swoosh swapping to rubber, clad in all black as it reflects the midsole note-for-note. However, it’s not the only change on this Air Force 1 worthy of note. The medial Swoosh is removed entirely, with the branding hit instead substituted for an embroidered Silver counterpart at the heel. To complement this heavy-duty makeover, a heel to toe dose of forest green takes over the profile, alongside durable synthetics and a mesh tongue.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Rubber Swoosh” is expected to land this Holiday season. Retail pricing is unconfirmed at this stage. For now, stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates landing page and enjoy official images included below.
