While other New Balance shoes can’t possibly rival the material quality of the brand’s USA and UK output, they can at least aim to deliver a likeminded, contemporary aesthetic. Exhibit A; this fresh New Balance 550 for women.
Shown here via official images, the basketball-turned-lifestyle shoe comes crafted with an all-suede upper. Two different shades of grey appear, with “Slate Grey” accounting for most of the paneling. The toe box and collar are a touch darker in “Castlerock,” matching the tongue, New Balance quarter logos, and TPU heel counter. Moving further underfoot, a “Sea Salt” midsole and “Slate Grey” outsole polish off the delivery.
