Sneaker News Updated October 18th, 2024: The Kith x ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 + GEL-Kayano 12.1 will release on October 21st, 2024 exclusively through Kith in-store and online. Vitality tier members of Kith’s Loyalty Program will receive early access starting at 1 PM ET on October 18th.
Kith is poised to close the 2024 chapter of its ASICS novel with another duo of collaborative drops before year’s end. Brand founder Ronnie Fieg just set those wheels in motion by officially revealing not one, but two upcoming ASICS make-ups that will likely fall in the release calendar before 2025.
First up is the ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 delivered in a crystal green execution. First revealed back in August on his Instagram Stories, the Kith x ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 sticks to a classic two-toned color-blocking formula that starts with a white sport mesh base and a translucent jade green on the technical overlays. The same bluish-green shade spills onto the upper half of the midsole and the GEL cushioning units, with white on the bottom half before it hands the baton to a classic black.
Next is another familiar take on the GEL-Nimbus 10.1, another one of ASICS’ halfway re-issues. Ronnie sticks to neutrals once more, applying ample shades of grey throughout the midsole and selections of the upper, while a khaki tan employs itself onto the ASICS logo above. White sport mesh repeats.
