Expected to land sometime this winter.

Refined Themes Permeate The Air Jordan 1 Low

The Jordan 1 Low OG build may be currently in vogue, but the Air Jordan 1 Low has been metronome-like over the past few years. Steadily lining store shelves and populating Nike digital storefronts, the sheer quantity of colorways can sometimes be overwhelming, but don’t discount the model’s ability to deliver a standout now and again. For our money, the “Team Gold” edition on tap today is very much of that ilk, looming for release in the coming weeks.

Unorthodox color-blocking is where the discussion of this pair begins, as the eye-stays, toe-box, outsole, and heel panel are grouped in silky cream. Pure white at the quarter tints that shade up, while darker khaki on the collar provides a darker complement before deep red closes out the arrangement on the Swoosh.

How this pair diverges from classic configurations is the first thing that draws attention, but the premium blend of colors is the foremost selling point. Though almost assuredly not a part of the collection, it’s hard not to think of Nike’s Lunar New Year collection, this pair potentially presenting a cost-minded alternative to that hyped capsule.

This Air Jordan 1 Low will likely hit the shelves at the end of this year or the beginning of next. Expect a $125 retail price once this pair does materialize.
