Skepta Goes Hiking With The PUMA Skope Forever Mid

Big Smoke takes an outdoorsy step.

Skepta Goes Hiking With The PUMA Skope Forever Mid

The partnership between PUMA and Skepta has been off to a rollicking start. After a delayed introduction for their collab, nearly 18 months elapsing between signing the BBK head and the debut of his signature shoe, we’ve been treated to multiple collections, the grime legend shaping up as one of the brand’s most important collaborators. As Fall/Winter begins in earnest, the partners are set to drop a re-cut of that signature model with the PUMA Skope Forever Mid.

While many silhouettes have attempted to lean into “gorpcore,” the PUMA Skope Forever fully embraces that aesthetic. The heightened foot entrance is one thing, but new leather paneling, steely mesh, and rugged metal eye-stays venture the shoe into a true boot transformation. For fans of the original model, the most defining characteristic of the PUMA Skope Forever proper remains, with the sectioned, chunky sole intact underfoot, along with the reflective chrome branding that splits it at the heel.

A blacked-out apparel collection arrives alongside the PUMA Skope Forever Mid. Pertex outerwear and accessories like boonie and five-panel hats further emphasize the outdoorsy offerings for this latest chapter of PUMA x Skepta.

The PUMA Skope Forever Mid in “Dark Chocolate/Silver” releases on November 2nd via their UK channels (puma.co.uk, in store and at partnering retailers.) Stay tuned for info on a stateside drop — each of Skepta’s releases from this year has come about stateside via Dover Street Market.
