Matt Varga We’ve spilled plenty of ink on the Air Max Plus this year. Just in October, we’ve covered nearly a dozen new looks — the major emphasis on Sean McDowell’s design this year only makes it more intriguing when we catch a colorway that’s able to break the mold. While “Sunset,” “Sunrise,” and otherwise attention-grabbing looks are par for the course, the orange and brown arrangement on tap today turns things down a notch.
woodsy brown trim through the mudguard, patent leather toe-cap, heel and sockliner establish a coarse foundation. The requisite ombre takes the mesh upper from light grey at the forefoot to almost jet black at the rear, matched by a stealthy outsole with a chromed-out interruption in its center. Closing with a bit of energy, bright yellow and orange crack through at the heel Tn tag and the mini Swoosh centered at the quarter.
This Nike Air Max Plus is likely a part of the Swoosh’s Fall/Winter offerings, landing at the end of 2024 or the start of 2025.
