One of the more high-profile reports was removing the Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Royal” from the release calendar, with industry insiders like @zsneakerheadz and @mrunloved1s corroborating that info.

Even with those rumors swirling, retailer images of that pair have now surfaced, allowing us to get a preview of what that drop could have or may still look like, coming just days After images surfaced of the Air Jordan 1 “Bred.” Much like that black and red release, there aren’t many surprises regarding the colorway on tap. Reprising the OG shoe faithfully, the beloved combination of black and red is applied in original color-blocking. However, speaking of the model’s origins, that palette notably arrives on the “Low ’85” build, matching the mission statement of its High counterpart by swapping to a more angular Swoosh, raised collar height, and upgraded materials.

A potential cause of the shifting nature of this release is just how much heat is expected for February.
