Nike Is Pushing Safari Prints Again With The Air Max Dn

An Olympic aftershock comes on November 11th.

Nike Is Pushing Safari Prints Again With The Air Max Dn

It may make it seem like forever ago, but it was only this summer when “Safari” ran rampant through the Nike catalog. Inspired by the “Volt” colorways of 2012 that broke sneaker community containment and made headlines across the world, the ostrich print covered all of the Swoosh’s latest and greatest offerings, from the basketball court to the track to off-the-field, primarily on their spotlighted Air Max Dn.

Following an all-black pair that showcased those principles, some run-off of the Olympics slate lands this November, inverting for a white-dominant look instead. Indeed, the same orange tonality that took the field in Paris lives on even in this belated delivery, albeit meted out more reservedly; check the four rear Air chambers, the outsole, and updated Dn tags on the tongue and heel that reflect the shoe’s colorway. Of course, the pocked pattern remains the star of the shoe, and a heavy application of it comes painting the midsole and creeping onto the upper via thin graphic fixing that outlines the sole.

The Nike Air Max Dn “Safari” releases on November 11th, retailing for $170 in men’s sizing. Expect launches on both Nike.com and local store shelves.
