Action Bronson Previews Upcoming New Balance Collaborations

If he wasn’t already, the release of the New Balance 1906R “Medusa Azul” and “Rosewater” solidified Action Bronson as one of the Boston brand’s most notable and reliable collaborators. We now stand on the precipice of the partners’ next chapter, centered around the New York marathon and tying in the fitness guru turn that the NYC MC has undergone.

In kind with his past capsules, he’ll utilize the drop to spotlight his own personal clothing line, and along with some lookbook images, he’s already teeing off the next steps in Action Bronson New Balance. Three new pairs are showcased here, each providing a never-before-seen colorway of a model Bronson is already associated with.

Beginning with his “BAKLAVA Performance Team” collection, the Minimus Trail earns a blood-red dominant look, characteristically contrasted by burnt orange and royal blue notes that frequently occur in his catalog. The FuelCell Rebel v4 careens in with a less eccentric style, sporting an off-white sole underneath a foundation of turquoise and, you guessed it, more blue.

Finally, likely the most significant headline for our readership, Bronson further teases a return to the New Balance 990v6, utilizing off-kilter “Baklava” color-blocking with a heavy dose of primary colors.

There’s a unifying palette across all three, leaving the door open for a potential collective release as we look to 2025. It’s equally possible that these are F&F exclusives or ultra-limited alternatives, already established with the low production numbers of his third New Balance 1906R, the “Scorpius.”

Regardless, this certainly whets the appetite of both Action Bronson fans and New Balance devotees. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page for any breaking news regarding this collab. In the meantime, check out the campaign images Bronson posted, all embedded below.
